Maple Sugar Pie

  • 4 uncooked pie crusts, commercial or homemade
  • 6 tbsp. butter
  • 1 tbsp. flour
  • 2 cups Nadine Maple sugar
  • 1 ½ cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

 

Preparation

  1. In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
  2. Add flour and maple sugar and mix well.
  3. Remove from heat and add milk. Stir with a whisk.
  4. Thicken over medium heat and add vanilla.
  5. Allow to cool before filling the uncooked pie crusts.
  6. Bake at 400°F for 25 minutes.
